Meeting rooms for 10 to 30 people
So you’re organising a board meeting for upwards of 10 people, huh? It might be modestly-sized, but we know that it’s still a big deal for you. That’s why our small boardrooms are just as practically equipped as our larger meeting rooms, making them perfect for no-frills board meetings and workshops.
We have 4 boardrooms in total. They’re all set up in a fixed boardroom style, but have varying capacities so you can choose the one that best fits your meeting size:
The Marcus Beck Library is our largest boardroom, seating up to 30 people
- The Henrietta Room seats up to 20
Leading meeting room AV technology
Each boardroom is fitted with the latest meeting room AV, so you can count on having the best possible working session while you’re with us. (Good things and small packages come to mind.)
For example, you’ll be able to:
Display your slides and visual content in full clarity, on HD screens or using a HD projector
- Connect to attendees anywhere, with high-quality conference calling
- Give your delegates hearing support, through our induction loop system
And, if you’re in the Marcus Beck Library, you’ll also be able to:
Share presentations and make decisions with a click, through our wireless presentation system
- Hear and be heard clearly, through our high-fidelity in-room speakers

All of our boardrooms can be booked for the whole day (8 hours), half a day (4 hours), or weekends. We can also provide working lunch and dinner menus if your attendees would like food. Just let us know how many people will be eating: we’ll handle the feeding.

What type of meeting rooms do you have?
At 1 Wimpole Street we have 9 meeting rooms for holding business meetings, workshops, and presentations.
The Toynbee Mackenzie ENT Room and Seminar Suite and are our most flexible meeting rooms, which you can set up in a range of styles for meetings of 40 to 60 people. The Seminar Suite also has moveable walls that can be used to divide the room into Seminar Room 1, Seminar Room 2 and Seminar Room 3. So they’re a great solution if you’ll be needing breakout space or separate working areas.
For smaller groups, we have a number of smaller boardrooms to choose from. The Marcus Beck Library holds up to 30 people in a fixed boardroom style, around a unique horseshoe table surrounded by rare medical textbooks. If you’re expecting less than 30, you can fit between 10 and 13 people in the Louis Forman Room and Chinese University of Hong Kong Room. The Henrietta Room holds up to 40 people.
On the other hand, if you’ll need more room, our conference and exhibition rooms make great alternative meeting spaces, with varying capacities of 80 people, 150 people, 200 people, and 300 people. The Seminar Suite and ENT Room may be used alongside any of them, as a handy breakout or catering area.
All of our meeting rooms are fitted with HD display screens, LCD monitors, or HD projectors, so you can share content in full clarity. They also all have high-speed wifi for complete connectivity. For a complete list of all our meeting room AV facilities, take a look at our Meeting Rooms AV page.
