1 Wimpole St Win at the AV Awards 2013

We’re very pleased to announce that our in-house team have won the ‘In-House AV Team of the Year’ award at the 2013 AV Awards. The whole AV team attended the awards ceremony, complete with 3-course meal, at the London Hilton on Park Lane.David Baddiel hosted the evening and presented the award alongside AV Interactive editor Clive Couldwell.

The in-house AV team of the year award-category was open to in-house teams across a range of sectors, from hotels and conference centres to shopping centres and centres of learning, and entrants are judged by a panel of experts measuring those who have delivered exceptional AV support to clients.

AV Manager Kevin McLoughlin said “There is only one industry award of this type so to win it puts us on a pedestal amongst our peers. The award is also a fantastic recognition of the hard work we’ve put into developing relationships with our clients over time and building an understanding of their unique needs”.

As well as winning the In-House team award, 1 Wimpole St were also shortlisted with AVM Impact for their collaboration in the Wimpole Lecture Theatre, in the ‘Best Business Installation’ category.

Furthermore both IML Worldwide and 1 Wimpole St have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Technology Partnership’ award-category, at the inaugural Event Technology Awards to be held Friday 15^th November. Again our entry is in recognition of the Wimpole Lecture Theatre and the fantastic collaborative effort made with our technology partner IML Worldwide.
